The VAD-SD002G.L2.TRC transmits a single Ethernet (10/100/1000M) signal up to 20 km away via fiber optic. This transmission device has a 2-port switching hub function, allowing for the connection of two network devices. - It transmits a single 10/100/1000M Ethernet signal over two fiber optic cables for long-distance transmission. - It supports a maximum transmission distance of 1 km in multimode and 20 km in single mode. - It has a built-in Ethernet switch function (2 ports) that allows for the connection of two LAN cables. * Cables connected to the RJ45 are treated as part of the same network, enabling communication between connected devices. (The two systems cannot be treated as independent networks.) - It operates on DC 9-12V (power adapter included). - When installing multiple units, a separately sold 19-inch rack mount chassis can be used for consolidated installation. * Two VAD-SD002G.L2.TRC units are installed at both ends of the fiber optic cable for use. * Sales are in units of one, but two units are required for opposing use.
